SNAKE SEASON
As you spend more time outdoors, please watch for rattlesnakes!
Rattlesnakes help control the rodent population in our desert environment. It is rarely necessary to kill one.
Call the GVFD to have a rattlesnake captured and relocated.

Non-venomous snakes may be welcome residents as they pass through your property dining on mice, insects and even rattlesnakes. Yes, they are generally immune to rattlesnake toxin. Leave them alone.
